“Mental health problems don’t define who you are. They are something you experience. You walk in the rain and you feel the rain. But you are not the rain.” -Matt Haig
Madison Ledzianowski is a Licensed Social Worker who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and parents. She earned her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Toledo and her Master’s in Social Work from Spring Arbor University. Madison has experience supporting children and adolescents in both therapy and case management settings.
Madison works with children experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, social struggles, difficulty expressing emotions, emotional dysregulation, trauma, and challenges related to family or life changes. She recognizes that children do not always have the words to communicate what they are experiencing and strives to create a warm, supportive environment where they can feel comfortable being themselves. Madison tailors therapy to each child and incorporates play therapy techniques, EMDR, mindfulness, somatic-based interventions, and creative activities to help children explore emotions, develop coping skills, and build confidence.
Madison also works closely with parents and caregivers, both alongside their children and individually. She supports parents in better understanding their child’s emotional and behavioral needs, strengthening communication and connection, and navigating the challenges that come with parenting. Her goal is to help children and their families recognize their strengths, celebrate progress, and feel more confident handling challenges together.
