Kerry Corrigan is a lifelong Perrysburg resident whose roots in this community continue to inspire both her art and her service. A 1995 graduate of Perrysburg High School, Kerry went on to earn her degree in art education from Bowling Green State University in 1999 before teaching art in Chicago. When her children were born, she returned her focus homeward, embracing the beautifully creative role of motherhood while remaining deeply involved in her community.

A parent of two teenagers, Kerry treasures the rich sense of connection that comes from living near family, lifelong friends, and neighbors who feel like extended family. Over the years, she has poured her energy into volunteering in local schools, community initiatives, and now serves as a member of Perrysburg City Council.

In 2013, Kerry brought a longtime dream to life with the opening of CREATE: Art Studio + Workshop in Downtown Perrysburg, later expanding into Sylvania. Through CREATE, she has cultivated spaces where creativity can flourish freely for both children and adults. Her philosophy is simple yet profound: art is not about perfection or product, but about curiosity, expression, and the joy of the creative process itself.

When she is not teaching, painting, or building community connections, Kerry can often be found reading, traveling, tending her garden, wandering nature trails, or taking long walks through the town she loves.
