“No storm stays forever.” -Thich Nhat Han
Hard times come and go, but the fallout from our most difficult experiences has a way of sticking around. Unshakeable memories, imbalanced relationship patterns, and wounded self-worth can stand between where we are and where we want to be. Anna believes wholeheartedly that everyone has within themself the strength and wisdom to navigate the obstacles on their path, but no one should have to tackle that work alone.
Anna seeks to work with adult survivors of childhood trauma to overcome barriers to growth, achievement, inner peace, and joyful living. Some of those barriers may show up as anxiety, depression, self-doubt, rumination, shame, panic attacks, or feeling lost and unsure of what to do next. Anna provides a warm, nonjudgemental space to unpack the challenges you currently face and nourish parts of yourself that may feel broken, wounded, or left behind.
Anna will be right there with you as you work to clarify your vision and reclaim your sense of self, reminding you of your strengths and capacity to sit mindfully in the driver’s seat of your one wild and precious life.
Anna earned her Masters in Counseling at the University of Toledo, and a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies from Western Michigan University. Her education has been grounded in the understanding that well-being is impacted by all the systems in an individual’s life such as family, culture, faith, and work. So, understanding your whole self, including the ways systems in your life impact your well-being will be a top priority for her.
